Tours

DNA Gardens offers informational horticultural tours that can be customized.  Tell us where your interest lies and we can accommodate.   Different tours can include show and tell and discussions about:
Plant propagation, softwood cuttings, seeds and tissue culture.
What is grafting and why do we graft?
Fruit growing from a commercial or homeowner perspective.

On average the tours run 1 hour with a ½ hour question period but they can be customized to a group’s interest. A shorter distance walking tour of interesting plant materials can also be arranged.

Field tour include a wagon ride of orchards and fields, minimum 20 people.  Blossom time is exhilarating. 

All tours include our own berry pie and berry juice. We welcome large or small groups including Ladies groups, Horticultural groups, Health and Wellness groups, and schools.

After the tour, take a stroll through our garden center, which offers a unique variety of garden art and prairie hardy trees and plants.
