Berry Smart Trail

For Family Adventure!  The trail winds through breathe taking orchards  that are well mapped with signposts, interesting facts, sights, smells and tastes.   Kids of all ages enjoy  the Goliath slingshot.  If you are successful and collect all the markers, dip into our treasure chest!  A map is provided that asks questions and the answers are found attached to each sign post.

Learn about our rich prairie heritage from the plant world perspective.   Hardy native plants, trees and shrubs helped settle the west.  Saskatoons, chokecherries, pincherries, cranberries, hazelnuts, honeyberries, gooseberries, currants, raspberries are just some of the native plants out on the trail you will encounter.

After your walk-about, relax in a cool, shaded garden and enjoy berry pie, cherry sausage  and real, honest to goodness juice made from these berries.  Later, you may decide to browse through our garden centre and gift store, or go pick a pail of your own scrumptious fruit.  

Ice-cream is served up with scrumptious fruit toppings that are grown right here!
